Iowa Gymnastics Enhancements
THE NEW AND IMPROVED HOME FOR IOWA GYMNASTICS
UI Athletics has undertaken an expansion project of the current practice facility at The Field House, where the north and south gyms have been combined to double the size of the training space. After elevating portions of the space to install foam pits--allowing our gymnasts to increase difficulty levels and train necessary repetitions--our gymnasts are safer, healthier, and more competitive.
Private support is essential to the overall success of all UI athletics programs. With the UI Department of Intercollegiate Athletics investing more than $1 million in the renovation of the practice facility, we've now set a fundraising goal of $250,000 to assist with continued enhancements. An investment today in our student-athletes, coaches, and staff will provide our Hawkeyes with the competitive edge they need to succeed.
